This program has been set up for players (born between 1998-2002) with a min. of two years playing experience. Players will work on conditioning and refining their skating, puck carrying, passing, shooting and body contact skills.

This program has been set up for the younger Rep. or Travel players (born between 1998-2001) with a min. of two years Rep. or Travel experience who like to practice and play. This is a conditioning program where players are put through fast passed drills. Each day players will also have a chance to scrimmage.

This full day/residency program has both an on ice and off ice component and is run under the instruction of the teams coaching staff. The program is complimented by a recreational side of activities. These could include such things as Swimming, Kayaking/Canoeing, Water Trampoline Activities, Water Tubing, Paintball, Earth Ball, Golf, Dry-land Trampoline Time, Archery/Crossbows, Horseback Riding, The Puck Shooting Range, Obstacle Course Competitions, as well as Wide and Ultimate Games.

Our ACHS Training Camp Program will work specifically on team development and cooperation to help the team perform as a single unit both on and off the ice.

Our Tyke and Squirts Rule is a beginners program set up specifically for beginner players (born between 2004-2006) and will feature a four player to one staff ratio. This program will teach and enhance the basic skills of hockey.

Established six years ago by our own campers, the Haliburton Paintball and Wilderness Adventure Camp has become a huge success. This camp program offers a lot of excitement and ensures that campers are able to play in a safe outdoor wilderness environment.

During their stay with us, players will be able to participate in numerous paintball battles while being able to participate in various other fun filled activities associated with this very popular program:

• Obstacle Course competition
• Kayaking and Canoeing
• Wide games
• Golf
• Trampoline activities
• Swimming and Water Trampoline (depending on weather and availability)
• Archery and Crossbows
• Sleeping in tent and/or cabins (depending on availability)
• Building and cooking on campfires
• Star gazing and watching Canada’s foremost wildlife
• Water tubing and/or water skiing (depending on weather and availability)
• Bike trail riding
• Earth ball

All campers accepted into this program will be required to attend a safety training and information seminar at camp prior to participating in any paintball battles.

The spectacular camp program is set up for boys eight through thirteen years old. Unlike any other program offered at the ACHS, this rugged program has been designed to help campers develop independence, in addition, a deep appreciation for the outdoor wilderness. Sold out for the past nine years in a row, our Algonquin Wilderness Trip and Adventure Camp Program remains our most popular camp program to date. Activities with this program include:

• Kayaking and Canoeing through Algonquin Provincial Park
• Swimming in Lakes, Rivers, and Rapids
• Building and cooking on campfires
• Sleeping in tents
• Star gazing and viewing Canada’s foremost wildlife
• Learning wilderness camping, boating, rescue and survival skills
• Hiking and exploring

All campers accepted into this program will be required to attend a training and preparation session prior to attending this trip. Please note that this is one of our most popular camp programs. Due to its small group sizes, this program always sells out well in advance.
